Mattress
Most midi beds use standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk is equipped with a safety rail for extra security. Some models come with a pull-out trundle drawer that can be used to host sleeping overs, or for adding additional storage space underneath the bed. They can be open or fitted with doors (please check the product's specifications for more details).
A lot of midi cabins have a desk which can be moved between the two upper levels or chests of drawers. This provides children with a unique space to store their belongings, meaning that there's no need to take up valuable floor space with large wardrobes or shelving units.
Some models have gone one step further by having cabinets that are flush mounted, or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is perfect for storing books and toys.
